Nash has been part of the bike industry since 1995. He has represented NSW and Australia in road cycling and won state medals in road, track and MTB. Nash is an active member of Cycling Australia, Parklife Cycling Club & Bicycle NSW. He is also a Cycling Australia Level 1 Coach, a TrainingPeaks Level 2 Coach, Former Head Coach of the Western Sydney Academy of Sport Cycling Program, a former mechanic and coach for the NSW Junior Road Team. Nash is involved in product testing for Garmin.

Sydney born and bred, he has a passion for bikes, art, music, and design. In 2013 Nash was appointed to the Sydney Olympic Park Authority's Bicycle Advisory Committee who regularly meet with board members to plan for safer and better cycling in the local area. He believes strongly in the local bike store.
