If you are sick with a fever or respiratory symptoms PLEASE LET THE RECEPTIONISTS KNOW WHEN YOU BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT. When you book for ANY appointment our receptionists will ask if you have any of those symptoms. We are not trying to invade the privacy of medical appointments - the information is only used to aid in infection control and to ensure that appropriate advice is given.
As part of infection control we have taken books and magazines from the waiting room. Please bring something (book, quite toy or electronic device) to entertain your younger patients (and yourself).
You may be asked to wait in your car with a mobile phone before entering the clinic. Please follow the instructions you are given by our receptionists and doctors before entering the clinic.
We are experiencing an unprecedented volume of phone calls currently, please be advised there may be a delay in returning your phone calls.
If you need results, prescriptions or a medical consultation book online or call for a telephone consultation with your doctor, which will be medicare bulk billed. This will decrease your risk of infection but allow you to access a doctor appointment without having to come into the clinic.
Please note that depending on the nature of the medical matter a physical appointment at the clinic at a later date may be required.
Screening Clinics have been established at twelve Melbourne hospitals. Patients who have symptoms compatible with COVID-19 may present to these screening clinics but are asked to call the hospital before doing so. Our closest centre is:
Northern Hospital 8405 8000
